Camp Crown Day 3

Day three was a bit disorganized. We went to the RecPlex and played in the pool and the gym. I was scared for my camera to get wet, so I only got pictures of the boys in the gym and at lunch. We had lots of fun!

Camp Crown Day 2

I am so sad that I didn't bring my camera to the first day of cub scout camp. I was with Bobby and Kayden the entire first day and I missed out on many precious photo opportunities. Here are the pictures from day 2 at Camp Crown which I spent with Bradley and his group. We started the day with jousting, then moved on to fishing, we did a little knot tying after lunch and then shot some BB guns. We finished off with kickball, but I didn't get any pictures of that.

It's been way too long!

Sorry for taking so long to update my blog. I have been neglecting both of my loyal readers. *laughs*

I've been busy at work. Getting better at InDesign and Illustrator. I am very comfortable with my Photoshop skills, so not much improvement there.

I love this NPR (New Product Release) sheet that the company owner had me make. Let me explain a little first... I work at a plumbing parts manufacturing company and we made a flush valve that converts a low gallon per flush like 1.28 to a larger gallon per flush like 2. I basically makes more water go down when you flush the toilet. That being said, here is the NPRsheet.

Can anyone spot the Monk cameo?

I changed the final product a little. I spun Mr. Monk around and flipped the box around and added labels to the box and made the toilet smaller and moved some text. I'll see if I can post the final draft tomorrow.

I got second place in both my NFL.com fantasy leagues, here and here. This weekend I play against Sue from church for the championship. I'll be happy if I get second in all of the three fantasy football leagues that I am in because of the symmetry; I will also be happy if I win first place, well, because I would win and everybody likes to win.

Football update...

I made the playoffs in all three of my fantasy leagues. In the next two or three weeks I will know the winner of each league. I hope I win at least one.

I GOT A JOB!

I am now working as a consultant for Lordahl Manufacturing using the business name of Crenshaw Consulting. I will be performing various technical tasks from graphic design to creating bar-coded labels to creating PERL scripts to extract data from CSV files. I need to make a logo for my company now that I own my own business. Fun times! My main job will be maintaining the company catalog. You can download the current catalog by section here.


I think that all blogs should have a picture and since I haven't made my "Crenshaw Consulting" logo yet, this will have to do...

Crazy kids!

Google Earth

I was playing around on Google Earth and I found that I could not only look at the earth, but also the moon, mars and the stars. So I looked around at the different constellations and eventually found my way to the Andromeda Galaxy. When I clicked on it, I get the following pop up.

What?!! Directions to and from the Andromeda Galaxy!!!! That is so funny!!!

Strange Things to Eat

I took these pictures the last time I went shopping. Lewis Produce has great deals on their meats, like $2 for 4 leg quarters and choice rib eye steaks cut to order for $6/lb. However, they also sell strange and disturbing foods. I hope you enjoy.
